LUBBOCK, Texas—The Southern Nazarene Equestrian team competed in their final show of the year at the IHSA Region Championship. The Storm Riders showed their talent all season long and capped off a great year with all five riders earning placings, including four top-five finishes.
Raegan Van Soest competed on Saturday and took first place on the flat. Jasmine Massey, Emily Nordhues, and Raegan Cleveland also competed on the flats, taking fourth, sixth, and seventh place finishes, respectively.
Charity Logemann, who made her way to the semi-finals last year, put together another fantastic season and closed the year out taking second over the fences and sixth on the flat on Saturday. Her efforts earned her a spot on Sunday, where she took fourth place.
Head coach Deborah Letham spoke highly of her team's performance this year, saying, "We had a great show season! We have some very promising talent coming back in the fall. I truly appreciate the effort the team puts into practice each and every day."
It was another phenomenal year for the Crimson Storm Riders, who continually showed their immense talent. The program continues to improve year in and year out and they look forward to another great year during the 2023-24 season.
