LAS CRUCES, N.M.—The Southern Nazarene University Equestrian team rode in Las Cruces, New Mexico for the IHSA Region Championship last Saturday and Sunday. Six riders competed, and all earned top five finishes on Saturday.

Tim Hough had a great showing on Saturday and finished first, allowing him to place up into the next division. His efforts qualified him for the Sunday show, where he earned a qualifying ribbon. Teammate Raegan Cleveland joined him Sunday with a qualifying ribbon after taking fourth in her division on Saturday.

Other Storm riders included Jasmine Massey, who took a third place finish on Saturday, Bethany Crouch, who finished fourth, and Emily Nordhues and Reagan Van Soest who each finished in fifth place.

The Storm riders will have one more IHSA Region Championship event next weekend in Lubbock, Texas. That show will take place March 4th-5th.
