SNU scored a late second-half goal thanks to Natalie Montanez looked to take their second match from East Central this season. The Storm were ultimately left to settle for a tie with East Central in Saturday afternoon's matchup.

Defense was the name of the game to begin the match. Both the Tigers and the Storm struggled to get something going offensively. ECU was awarded a penalty kick in the 19th minute, scoring the first goal of the match. East Central tallied five shots while SNU tallied three. That would be all the offense in the first half giving the Tigers the lead of 1-0 going into halftime.
