CANYON, Texas—A great day for SNU's Tessa Bethea leads the way as Bethea placed first overall as the High Point Rider at the Two Hunt Shows hosted by West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas.

Bethea would improve on an already solid Saturday with a pair of third place finishes in both the fences and the flats by earning first place finishes in both disciplines on Sunday. Her impressive weekend would also earn her SNU Female Athlete of the Week.

Along with Bethea's impressive day, the Crimson Storm riders also saw 10 other top-5 finishes as the team put together an all-around great weekend. Charity Logemann grabbed a first place finish over the fences on Saturday, while also taking third on the flats. She took even more placings on Sunday with a third place finish over the fences and a fourth place finish on the flats.

Patricia Wilson took another top-3 finish on Saturday as a great showing over the fences landed her in third place. She would then take fifth on Saturday over the fences, while improving to a fourth place finish on the flats.

After taking a fourth place finish on Saturday in the flats, Raegan Cleveland competed in both disciplines on Sunday. She placed in both events by taking a sixth place finish over the fences and fifth place finish on the flats.

Emily Nordhues and Jasmine Massey rounded out the scoring for the Storm riders. Massey snatched a fifth place finish on Saturday in the flats, while Nordues took sixth place finishes in the flats on each day.

SNU Equestrian will now take a two week break to prepare for the IHSA Region Championships Feb. 26-27. The event will again take place in Canyon, Texas.
