Storm Riders Compete in Two Hunt Shows

SNU Equestrian competes in Two Hunt Shows in Canyon, Texas over the weekend

CANYON, Texas—Southern Nazarene competed in their third show of the season over the weekend in Canyon, Texas, where the Storm Riders brought home six top-five finishes in the Two Hunt Shows.

Day 1:

Day one saw Charity Logemann and Reagan Van Soest each claim fourth place finishes on the flats. Logemann also competed over the fences and placed sixth on Saturday. Emily Nordues and Reagan Cleveland each took sixth place on the flat, while Georgia Woodward and Jasmine Massey both took reserve (7th) on flat. Cleveland also competed over the fences on Saturday, where she finished reserve (7th).

Day 2:

The Crimson Storm's other four top-five finishes came on Sunday. Charity Logemann followed up her day one performance with another fourth place finish on flat, while also improving to a fourth place finish over the fences. Reagan Cleveland also took fourth over the fences on day two, while also placing sixth on flats. Reagan Van Soest again finished top-5 with a fifth place finish in the flats. SNU earned three more placings on the flat as Georgia Woodward, Emily Nordues, and Jasmine Massey all claimed sixth.

The Storm Riders will now take a few weeks off before their final show of the fall semester. They travel to Stephenville, Texas November 19-20 to compete in the Two Western Shows hosted by the University of North Texas.
