STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Southern Nazarene competed in their first Equestrian Show of the year in Stephenville, Texas over the weekend. The Storm Riders represented well, coming away with 12 top-5 finishes in the Two Hunt Shows.
Saturday
SNU grabbed six top-5 finishes on each day. They were led by Charity Logemann, who earned a win on Saturday in the Intermediate Fences, as well as third place finish in the Intermediate Flat.
Raegan Cleveland also earned a pair of top-5 finishes on Saturday, placing fifth in both Limit Flat and Limit Over the Fences. Emily Nordues matched her in the Limit Flat, also finishing fifth.
Reagan Van Soest also represented well, placing second in the Pre-Novice Flat.
Other Storm riders included Jasmine Massey placing sixth in the Limit Flat, and Georgia Woodward who participated in the Open Flat.
Sunday
SNU earned six more top-5 finishes on day two. They showed out well in the Limit Flat as Jasmine Massey earned second, Emily Nordhues earned third, and Raegan Cleveland took sixth. Cleveland also took a fourth place finish in Limit Over the Fences.
Charity Logemann continued her strong show from Saturday by picking up two more top-5 placings on Sunday. She took fourth in Intermediate Fences before another third place finish in Intermediate Flat.
Georgia Woodward picked up her first top-5 finish by placing fifth in the Open Flat. Raegan Van Soest also took reserve in Pre-Novice Flat.
After a great first show, Southern Nazarene will take next weekend off to prepare to host their first show in El Reno, Oklahoma October 15-16!
