Final Results
EDMOND, Okla. – The Southern Nazarene women's golf team closed out the Grace Shin Invitational on Tuesday at the Golf Club of Edmond with a 19
th place finish. Hosted by the University of Central Oklahoma, SNU carded a final round score of 335 to finish out the event.
The Crimson Storm finished just one shot behind William Jewell College and 17 behind Fort Hays State. Rogers State took home the team title after defeating Nebraska-Kearney and host UCO. The Hillcats' Lydia Sitorus and Ellen Loving tied for the individual title along with the Bronchos' Susana Olivares.
SNU was led by sophomore
Sara Armstrong who carded rounds of 81-82 at the tournament to finish tied for 72
nd. Freshman
Carley Haught posted scores of 82-84, while
Emilie Jackson came in with totals of 81-91. The final two in the Storm lineup were
Parker Garrett (88-85) and
Loren Ogburn (91-84).
Southern Nazarene will be back in action next week in Arkansas as they travel to Hot Springs for the NCAA Central Region Preview hosted by Henderson State.
