SEARCY, Ark. — An early morning match did not go as planned for the Southern Nazarene Women's Soccer team as they dropped their second meeting with the Bisons with a final score of 9-0.
Harding came out firing every which way as they managed to shoot a total of 33 shots that morning. 16 of these were in range for the Bisons as 9 were successful in putting a point on the board. The Storm couldn't not get any offensive momentum started this match as they totaled only six shots with two on target that morning.
The Bisons made a statement as early as the 8th minute when they punched the first goal that morning to set the tone of the match. Two more goals would follow for the Bisons as they left SNU to trail 3-0 going into the half.
Harding returned with the same energy in the second half as they managed to punch in five more goals that morning with a final score of 9-0.
Karla Ramirez and Natalie James each tallied one shot on goal a piece that match while goalie Eliya Alvidrez grabbed six saves.
The Storm return home next week to host another conference match against Oklahoma Baptist Thursday at 5 p.m.
