WEATHERFORD, Okla. — Rough day for the Southern Nazarene University Women's Soccer team as they fell 10-0 to Southwestern Oklahoma State in their fifth conference game this season.
The Bulldogs (6-4-1, 4-0-1 GAC) were up and running the entire match tallying a total of 26 shots and 17 shots on goal that afternoon. The Storm (1-10, 0-5 GAC) could not answer SWOSU's offensive threats as they only secured six shots with five of those on goal.
The Bulldogs made a statement early putting up three goals in the first half leaving SNU to trail 3-0. SWOSU managed to punch in seven more goals in the second making it a final read 10-0 to conclude the match.
The Storm showed some positive offensive efforts as five of their six total shots were on target that afternoon.
Karla Ramirez took every opportunity she had for the Storm as she posted three shots with all three of those on target. Natalie James and Isabella Kingsakongthong each took one shot for SNU with both on target.
In goal, Eliya Alvidrez was back in action tallying five saves for the Storm while Abigail Moreno secured two that afternoon.
SNU is back in Bethany this Saturday where they host the Rangers from Northwestern Oklahoma State at 1 p.m.
