BOLIVAR, Mo. - The Southern Nazarene University men's soccer team were back in action Saturday night and were victorious against Southwest Baptist University. SNU scored often, ending the game with a 4-3 win over SBU.

SNU (1-1) struck first in the 40th minute with a strike from Eric Romero, and at the break SNU led 1-0. Southwest Baptist (0-2) wasn't able to answer until the 46th minute with a goal from Isaiah Waddy. Joao Padovan reclaimed the lead with a goal of his own, assisted by Angel Lopez, in the 65th minute to put the Crimson Storm up 2-1. 

It wasn't long until SNU struck again with a score by Guy Esquivel, which was again assisted by Angel Lopez in the 73rd minute of the second half. Shortly after, the last goal from SNU came in the 75th minute from Nicolas Sankind which was assisted from Eric Romero. Southwest Baptist fought back and scored two more times with goals in the 77th minute by Javier Munoz and one in the 83rd minute by Isaiah Waddy. The last goal being assisted by Munoz. 

SNU had four different players score on the night.

The Men are back in action Thursday, Sep. 12, at home to take on Lubbock Christian University (1-0) at 7:00 p.m.
