BETHANY, Okla - The Southern Nazarene University Women's Soccer team tied with Eastern New Mexico University, 0-0 on Saturday. This marks the program's first tie since 2016, when the Storm drew  with Southwestern Oklahoma State in the Great American Conference tournament.

In this tight defensive battle, SNU (2-3-1) and ENMU (3-0-1) fought all day to get the ball in the net. The Crimson Storm's afternoon was highlighted by the relentless goalkeeper play of Ashlynn Pritchett. Pritchett was able to snag eight saves to keep the Greyhounds out of the net. This was an impressive stat considering the 27 shots ENMU took in the match. 

There were many moments in the matchup where it seemed like one team was going to score, but the defense would step right in to deny. SNU shot 8 times with 3 being on target. Delaney Stewart led the way here firing four shots on the day. 

SNU will travel next Saturday to open up Great American Conference play against Oklahoma Baptist University (1-3-1). The match was originally slated to kick off at 7 p.m., but due to a conflict on campus with OBU football, the match time has been changed to 12:00 p.m.
