HOT SPRINGS, Ark. - After a big year for Southern Nazarene women's golf, Bailey Blake earned a spot on the All-GAC Honorable Mention Team on Saturday evening at the Great American Conference Awards Banquet, just one day before round one tees off.

Blake has been a huge component to leading SNU to one of their best seasons since moving to NCAA Division II under Derrick Taylor. SNU is regionally ranked for the first time in school history, currently sitting at 13th, and won their first tournament in many years earlier this season at the Natural State Golf Classic, where Blake earned a Top 5 finish.

Blake was also key to SNU shooting under 300 as a team for the first time in the Taylor era as she earned a third place finish at the Diffee Invitational.

Additionally, Sarah Rovenstine was named a Distinguished Scholar-Athlete by the conference.

Southern Nazarene will open the first round of the GAC Championships tomorrow morning at the Hot Springs Country Club.
