ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Southern Nazarene dropped both games of the doubleheader Saturday to Ouachita Baptist 10-0 and 1-0 on the road.

The Crimson Storm never could get anything going at the plate in the first two games of the series as they tallied just nine hits in the opening two games.

Ryan Mills got the start in the opener and the senior took his fourth loss on the season. He allowed five runs on seven hits and two walks in 2.1 innings of action.
Triston Graves and
David Lechuga each provided 2.0 innings in relief as Graves allowed four runs while Lechuga allowed one.

Jack Campbell finished the game 2-for-3 at the plate as the Storm notched just five hits in the opener.
Shelby Reese and
Cobi Ceron each went 1-for-3 at the dish while
Tanner Ladon finished 1-for-2.

Ouachita Baptist pushed a couple of runs across the plate in the top of the second to take a 2-0 lead, and added three more in the third inning to go up 5-0. The Tigers scored one in the fifth to make it 6-0, and four more in the top of the sixth to put the run-rule in effect. The Storm weren't able to get anything going down the stretch in the final two innings as the Tigers won their second GAC game of the year.

Jefferson Harris got the start in the nightcap game as the senior earned his second loss of the season. He pitched a complete game, as he struck out six batters and allowed six hits and one run in 7.0 innings of action.

Tanner Ladon was the lone bright spot at the plate for the Storm as the freshman finished 3-for-3 with two doubles.
Connor Dayton and
Emilio Escobedo each recorded a hit in the game and Escobedo also had one double.

After three scoreless innings, Ouachita pushed one run across in the top of the fourth to take the 1-0 lead. SNU couldn't get much going after that as they finished the game with six runners left on base and the Tigers closed them out.

Southern Nazarene will close out the series with Ouachita Baptist tomorrow afternoon in Arkadelphia, with the first pitch scheduled for 12 p.m.
