While the Crimson Storm took care of business in Sawyer, SNU got a little help in Arkadelphia as Ouachita upset Southern Arkansas to increase SNU's lead in the GAC Standings to two games with four more to play in the regular season.
SNU shot 29 of 64 (45%) from the field and 10 of 28 (36%) from deep. SNU got to the free throw line 33 times and shot 79% from the stripe. Southwestern was held to 21 of 59 (36%) from the field and 9 of 24 (38%) from deep. SWOSU did get to the line 29 times, but only shot 45% from the stripe.

The Crimson Storm started fast with a
Micah Speight 3-pointer and got
Noah Starkey going in the paint, setting the tone early on and racing out to a 14-5 lead in the first six minutes of play. SNU proceeded to get stops on one ends and turn it into offense on the other end as an
Ashton Charles 3-pointer pushed the lead to 23-7 midway through the first half.
Speight's third 3-pointer of the first half put SNU ahead 35-17, but SWOSU battled back, getting some offense going and pulling within seven at 38-31 with 1:03 to play in the first half. A 3-pointer from
Coleman Edwards pushed the momentum back to SNU and gave them a 41-31 lead at the break.
It the second half, SNU really turned it on, dominating the paint and switching to a 3-2 zone that baffled the Bulldog offense. The Crimson Storm also shot 58% from the field in the half to increase their lead.
Jhonathan Dunn opened the second half with a corner three followed by four straight points from
Quaylon Newton and a 3-point play from Starkey to push the lead to its highest at 20. SWOSU kept it around the 20 mark, but never got any closer than 17 as SNU was revved up and could not be stopped, especially in the paint.
With under eight to play Dunn began to heat up and knock down jumpers while Newton and Starkey found some opening and put together some monster jams. A 3-pointer from Edwards got the lead to 30 with five minutes to play.
SNU flirted with th 100 point barrier for the second straight game, but fell just a tad short, about the only thing that didn't happen in the second half as the Crimson Storm took the 94-64 victory.
