PORTALES, N.M. — Southern Nazarene fell 3-1 on the road at Eastern New Mexico Thursday afternoon in the first game of the season.

The Crimson Storm (0-1) tallied just one shot in the first half, as the Greyhounds (1-0) fired nine. The Storm took nine shots in the second half as they finished the game with four shots on goal. Eastern New Mexico tallied 15 shots, eight of those being on target.

The Greyhounds struck first in the 15
th minute to take the 1-0 lead, and notched another goal in the 17
th minute to push their lead to 2-0. After taking the lead into halftime, ENMU scored another goal in the 61
st minute to increase their lead to 3-0.

Reagan Haydon got his first start for Southern Nazarene in goal as the freshman recorded five saves in the game.
