RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. — Southern Nazarene dropped both games of a doubleheader Saturday at Arkansas Tech as it fell 10-4 and 8-5.
 
In the opener, Southern Nazarene had a 4-0 lead heading into the bottom of the fifth after breaking a scoreless tie with four in the top half of the inning. 
Cole Lee drove home the first run with a single up the middle before 
Cole Wagner ripped a 3-run double down the left field line to give SNU the 4-0 lead.
 
The lead was short lived though as Tech scored five in the bottom of the fifth to lead 5-4 and then put it away with four in the sixth and one in the seventh.
 
Joe Toilolo went 3-for-3 with a run scored while Lee went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored. 
Jefferson Harris (1-2) took the loss after giving up eight runs on six hits in 5.1 innings of work.
 
In the nightcap, SNU jumped on the board early in the top of the first with two as 
Shelby Reese and 
Emilio Escobedo had back-to-back two-out singles to put SNU up 2-0. The Wonder Boys answered with four in the bottom half of the first to lead 4-2. The Storm tied the game in the top of the second with two more. Lee made it 4-3 with a single to short, before SNU tied it on a double play.
 
Tech took a 6-4 lead in the fourth with two before SNU got one back in the fifth on a 
Tanner Maskey solo home run to right to make it 6-5. The Wonder Boys added two more insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth and shut the door in the seventh.
 
Lee and Escobedo each went 2-for-4 with an RBI while 
Christian Dent went 2-for-3 with a run scored. 
David Gustafson (3-4) took the loss after giving up six runs, two earned, on eight hits in the start. He struck out one in 3.1 innings of work.
