ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Despite tallying 16 shots in the match and 10 shots on goal, Southern Nazarene couldn't get anything to find the back of the net in a 3-0 loss on Saturday afternoon to Ouachita Baptist.

The Tigers (6-7, 4-4 GAC) fired 23 shots and landed 10 of those on goal in the match, as they also tallied three more saves than the Crimson Storm (2-12, 1-7 GAC).
Karsyn Matthews and
DeLaney Stewart each had two shots on goal for SNU, while
Alejandra Andrade landed all three of her shot attempts on target.
Kylee Payne,
Alexus Coxsey, and
Maigen Rangel all had one shot on goal for the Storm as well.

Goalkeeper
Ashlynn Pritchett recorded seven saves in the match for SNU. She played just under 77 minutes in goal while
Micaela Owen tallied just over 13 minutes in relief.

Ouachita Baptist took a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute of the match on a goal from Jaymee Dotson, while Jamie Fowler added another score for the Tigers just before halftime. Ouachita put the game out of reach in the 73
rd minute with a goal from Ashlyn Heckman as they cruised from there.

Southern Nazarene returns home on Tuesday night for a GAC match against rival Oklahoma Baptist with kickoff set for 5:30 p.m.
