BETHANY, Okla. — It took almost two full overtime periods to determine the winner this afternoon at Wes Harmon Field, but Lubbock Christian scored the golden goal in the 107
th minute to give LCU a 1-0 victory over Southern Nazarene.

The Chaparrals (4-1-0) scored on a penalty kick from Allison Scott. The Crimson Storm (2-2-0) were hit with a handball penalty inside the goalkeeper box, resulting in the Chaps' goal. Lubbock Christian totaled 25 shots for the game, but only nine of them were on goal. SNU tallied 11 shots for the game, and four of those were on goal.

Ashlynn Pritchett recorded eight saves for the match, as she had a couple of crucial ones down the stretch to keep the Storm alive.
