WICHITA, Kan. —Bailee Turang had three team-highs with seven kills, two aces and 13 digs for Southern Nazarene in a 3-0 (26-24, 25-22, 25-7) loss to Newman (Kan.) Saturday.

The Crimson Storm (6-8) hit just .035 while the Jets (7-9) hit .311. Newman also out blocked the Storm 11-3, but SNU out dug the Jets 50-49.

Meagan Ellis had six kills and 10 digs while
Kayla Thomas had six kills and a block.
Makenna Hunter also had five kills and two blocks.
Kami Ware had nine digs and
Elyse Berlin had eight.
Kylie Smith totaled 23 assists to go with five kill and six digs.

There were 12 ties and four lead changes in the first set, with neither team leading by more than three at any point set in the set. The final tie came at 24 when Newman got a kill and an SNU error to take a 1-0 lead in the match. Newman never trailed the rest of the way in the final two sets.
