BETHANY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene dropped both games of a doubleheader 11-5 and 5-4 to Oklahoma Baptist Friday afternoon in the final Great American Conference series of the year.

In the opener, Oklahoma Baptist jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the first, before the Crimson Storm answered in the bottom half of the second with a two-run home run to left by
Mike Descisciolo. It was his ninth home run of the year. The Bison took a 6-2 lead with two in the top of the third and pushed it to 8-2 with two in the sixth. The Bison added three in the top of the eighth on a three-run opposite field home run by Josh Timms to lead 11-2.

Easton Rodgers drew a bases-loaded hit by pitch in the bottom of the eighth to make it 11-3 before a
Josh Hilton sacrifice fly made it 11-4. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
Ryan Tucker drove in the final run of the inning with a ground out to third that scored
Austin Cooper to make it 11-5, but that was as close as SNU came.

Cooper led the way as he went 3-for-5 with a run scored. Tucker was also 2-for-4 while
Dillon Feland was 2-for-5.
Jefferson Harris (1-6) took the loss after giving up six runs, five earned, on five hits in four innings.

In the nightcap, it was the Crimson Storm who took the first lead of the game when
Tyler Stevens drilled an RBI double to right center to score Feland.
Anthony Wiggins made it 2-0 when he singled to right to score Stevens.

The Bison cut it to 2-1 in the top of the second with one and then took their first lead of the game at 3-2 with two in the top of the third. SNU tied it in the bottom of the fourth on a sac fly to center by
Dalen Edgar that scored Wiggins before the Storm retook the lead on a single up the middle by
Ryan Tucker to score Edgar.

Oklahoma Baptist got the last say though by scoring two in the top of the seventh and then retired the Storm in order in the bottom half to get the win.

All five of the Crimson Storm's hits came from different players.
David Gustafson (0-9) took the loss after giving up five runs, four earned, on six hits in the complete game performance.
