BETHANY, Okla. — Cobi Ceron,
Anthony Wiggins and
Mike Descisciolo combined to go 9-for-12 with five RBIs and six runs scored for Southern Nazarene in an 8-7 win over East Central.

The win in the final game of the series gave the Crimson Storm (7-37, 5-19 GAC) its first series win in Great American Conference play this season.

Ceron, Wiggins and Descisciolo all went 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Ceron and Wiggins each drove in one run while Descisciolo drove in three.

Joe Toilolo (1-1) picked up his first win of the season as he had 1.1 innings of perfect relief. Wiggins got the start on the hill as he allowed seven runs on 10 hits. He struck out six in six innings of work before
Zach Birkle gave up just two hits and struck out three in 1.2 innings of relief.

East Central jumped out in front in the top of the first with one, but the Storm answered back in the bottom half of the inning when
Anthony Wiggins laced a double to right center to score
Dillon Feland from second.
Mike Descisciolo then gave the Storm its first lead at 3-1 with his eighth home run of the year with a laser to left.

The Tigers knotted the game at 3-3 in the top of the second with two-run shot to left center and then added another to take a 4-3 lead. The Storm tied it in the bottom of the second when
Jefferson Harris singled to center to score
Dalen Edgar. SNU retook the lead in the third on an ECU error to go up 5-4.

The Tigers though added two on a two-run home run to left center by Kade Hayes to make it 6-5. The Tigers pushed it to 7-5 in the top of the sixth, but SNU got one back on a one-out solo home run to left center by
Cobi Ceron for his first of his collegiate career. Descisciolo tied the game later in the inning with a line drive to left field.

SNU loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the eighth for
Austin Cooper who hit one deep enough to center field to score Ceron and give the Storm the game-winning run.
