DALLAS — Kylie Smith notched her team-high 17
th double-double of the season as Southern Nazarene fell, 3-0 (26-24, 25-15, 25-23) at Dallas Baptist Saturday.

Meagan Ellis and
Bailee Turang each had eight kills as Ellis had 16 digs and while Turang had 13.
Elyse Berlin added 12 digs while
Hannah Davis had nine to go with three kills.
Makenna Hunter also had seven kills and a pair of blocks while
Mikayla Emmert had three blocks.

The Crimson Storm (12-17) as a team had six blocks and 71 digs while the Patriots (10-14) had seven blocks and 80 digs. DBU also out hit SNU .172-.035.

There were eight ties in the first, but after Dallas Baptist used a 6-0 midway through the set to lead 16-13, it didn't trail again. SNU did defend off three sets points after trailing 24-21, but the Patriots scored the final two points to lead 1-0.

SNU scored the first five points of the second set, but the Storm scored just 10 more points the rest of the way. Dallas Baptist broke a an 11-11 tie with a 14-4 run to close the set and take a 2-0 lead in the mach.

In the final set, the Storm led 20-18, but DBU rallied with a match-ending 7-3 run.
