WEATHERFORD, Okla. — Southwestern Oklahoma State blocked a
Carlos Anguiano kick with six seconds left as Southern Nazarene fell on the road 20-17 Saturday.

The Crimson Storm (4-6, 4-6 GAC) took a 17-13 lead with 8:43 left to play on a
Nate Walker touchdown, but the Bulldogs (3-7, 3-7 GAC) scored with 1:24 left to take a 20-17 lead. Southern Nazarene used eight plays and got down to the SWOSU 31-yard line with six seconds left to set up a 48-yard field goal for Anguiano. The Bulldogs' Tyler Follis got a hand on the ball and terry McMillon ran the ball down to the SNU 32-yard line to win the game.

Southern Nazarene was held to 240 total yards as the Storm rushed for 174 yards and threw for 66.
Jacob Spady ran for 94 yards on 18 carries while Walker ran for 32 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Spady also threw for 66 yards and a touchdown as he was 7-for-18 passing.
Reid Roelofs had the touchdown catch as he totaled 41 yards receiving on three catches.

The Storm gave up 428 yards as the Bulldogs threw for 234 yards and ran for 194.
Myles Roll notched eight tackles while Anthony Stephens had seven. Daryan Harris,
Josh Jordan and
Jakel Davis all had interceptions.

Anguiano gave SNU the first lead of the game with a 27-yard field goal with 1:21 left in the first quarter. The Bulldogs tied it with 11:07 left in the first half before
Reid Roelofs gave the Storm a 10-3 lead with 6:54 left in the second. It took just one play after Jordan's interception put SNU on the SWOSU 18-yard line.

Southwestern tied it again at 10-10 with 1:04 left in second quarter and eventually took its first lead with 3:34 left in the third at 13-10. The two traded a lead each before the game-ending blocked kick.

It was also the third straight game that Spady threw for a touchdown pass.
