EDMOND, Okla. — Southern Nazarene ended up on either end of a 3-0 sweep to close out the GAC-MIAA Crossover with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-20) win over Pittsburg State and a 3-0 (25-13, 25-8, 25-17) loss to No. 9 Central Oklahoma.

The Storm rolled through the first match with a committee of hitters as 31 kills were spread out among six players with no more than seven kills going to any player. Kaitlynn Vought had six of those kills to go with four aces and three blocks as she accounted for 11.5 of SNU's point. She also had six digs.
Lexie Matthews had seven kills while
McKayla Benner and
Courtney Bowie each had six kills as well. Bener had three blocks and an ace while Bowie had two blocks. Berlin had 25 assists, four digs, a blocks and an ace while
Hannah Davis and
Abbey Bell each had 11 digs.

The storm held Pitt State (1-10) to just a .034 (30-26-117) clip and had seven blocks and 50 digs compared to four blocks and 43 digs for the Gorillas. The Storm also doubled up PSU in aces with six.

Against the Bronchos (13-0), SNU hit in the negative at -.019 (26-28-108), got out dug 45-29 and out blocked 7-5. Benner led the way for SNU with eight kills while Berlin had 17 assists and four digs. Benner also had two blocks and Vought had a pair of blocks as well.
