SAN DIEGO, CALIF. — Southern Nazarene's offensive struggles lead to a 5-0 loss at Point Loma Nazarene Saturday.

The Storm (0-3-0) had a difficult time getting anything going on the offensive end. Throughout the entirety of the game SNU managed to get two shots off, one from
Meagan Chase, which was on goal, and one from
Hannah Robinson. Point Loma took 19 shots, ten on goal.

PLNU (2-1-1) scored their first goal in the 13
th minute on a shot taken by Cori Deason from 24 yards out, assisted by Madison Valenzuela and Rachel Witz. The Sea Lions tacked on two more goals in the first half, both coming from Madison Valenzuela, giving Point Loma a 3-0 lead at the half.

PLNU applied more pressure in the second half as they took eight shots, scoring on two of them. Bella Diaz and Easton Kawawaki each scored a goal to give the Sea Lions a 5-0 lead to cruise with the win.

Natasha Fuentes recorded five saves, while PLNU used a combination of Ariel Oriarte and Jessica Warner. Arial Oriarte recorded one save.Â
