ALVA, Okla. — Alec Laffoon recorded 101 yards receiving for Southern Nazarene in a 42-9 loss at Northwestern Oklahoma State Saturday.

The senior become the first receiver to have 100 yards receiving since Austin Williams went over the century mark in the 2014 season against East Central. Laffoon needed just four catches to hit the mark for the Storm (1-7, 1-7 GAC).
Jacob Spady threw for 185 yards as he was 13-for-31. He did have an interception and was sacked three times. The sophomore also led the team in rushing with 25 yards on 16 carries.

SNU as a team threw for 185 yards and rushed for 83 for 268 total yards.

Joshua Jordan had a team-high 11 tackles while Noah Well had seven tackles and a sack.

The Crimson Storm got on the board first in their first drive of the game. SNU recovered a fumble at the Northwestern 14-yard line and turned that into a 31-yard

The Rangers (4-4, 4-4 GAC) though scored 28 straight to lead 28-3 with 6:33 left in the half. SNU got its first touchdown with 41 seconds left in the half when
Matthew Seratte capped a 12-play, 75-yard drive when he punched it in from one yard out to make it 28-9 at the half.

Northwestern Oklahoma State though added a touchdown in the third and fourth quarters and blanked the Storm in the second half.
