SEARCY, Ark. — Southern Nazarene had 25 hitting errors and was held to just a .068 hitting percentage as it fell 3-0 (25-14, 25-15, 28-26) at Harding Friday night.

The Crimson Storm (11-9, 6-4 GAC) hit over .100 in just the third set and got out blocked 8-5.
McKayla Benner was the only player in double-figure kills as she had 10 to go with four blocks.
McKenna Qualls and
Courtney Bowie each had six kills while
Elyse Berlin and
Kylie Smith each had 15 assists. Smith had all of hers in the third set. Berlin had a team-high 14 digs.
Abbey Bell had 12 digs while
Kaitlyn Vought from nine.

SNU knew it was in for a long night after Harding started the match on an 11-2 run and cruised to take a 1-0 lead. The Bisons (16-6, 7-3 GAC) didn't trail in the first two sets. Harding opened the second set on a 5-0 run and closed it with an 8-4 streak.

In the final set, the Crimson finally came alive as it tied Harding 14 times and there were eight lead changes. The Bisons opened the set with four straight points, but the Crimson Storm scored the next six and neither team led by more than four the rest of the way. Harding took a 17-13 lead later in the set, but the Storm used a 7-2 run to recapture the lead at 20-19. Harding tied it at 20 and the two had six more ties until the Bisons got back-to-back kills from Alex Nolan and Zoe Hardin to wrap up the match.
