BETHANY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene got goals from both
Alyssa Glitzke and
Kelsi Bussert, but a late goal for Oklahoma Baptist gave the Bison a 3-2 victory Tuesday night.

The Bison (9-5-0, 3-3-0 GAC) struck first, as Kerregan Edwards scored her second goal on the season in the 23
rd minute. Markella Suka fired a shot that was blocked by
Natasha Fuentes, Edwards got the rebound and kicked to ball in for a goal, giving the Oklahoma Baptist a 1-0 lead.

The Storm (4-11-0, 3-6-0 GAC) answered the Bison when Glitzke scored her first goal of the season in the 32
nd minute. Glitzke dribbled the ball up the left side of the field and into the box. She created a sliver of space and took a shot from 15 yards out, sending the ball to the back of the net and knotting the score up at one.

The Storm attempted five shots in the first half with two on goal. The Bison took eight shots with three on goal.

Oklahoma Baptist retook the lead early in the second half as Abigail Hicks scored her sixth goal of the season in the 49
th minute. Suka placed a shot on goal that was blocked and the rebound found Hicks who kicked it in for goal, giving OBU a 2-1 lead.

The lead didn't last long as the Storm tied the game up at two ten minutes later in the 59
th minute. Bussert fired a penalty to the back of the net for her third goal of the season.

The Bison got a late goal from Kenzi Bice in the 84
th minute to give OBU then lead and inevitably the 3-2 win.

The Storm took nine shots on the night with five on goal while the Bison attempted 21 shots with nine on goal.

Fuentes recorded six saves for Southern Nazarene and Oklahoma Baptist's Emma Beck notched three saves.
