SEARCY, Ark. — Southern Nazarene picked up its first win for the 2015 season with a 1-0 victory on the road against Harding.

The Crimson Storm (1-6-0) picked up the lone goal of the game in the 59
th minute of play, when
Tommy Fiszel tallied his team-high fourth goal of the season on a penalty kick.

That was all SNU needed, thanks to stout defense throughout the day. The Crimson Storm controlled the ball well, tallying 13 shots with six on goal compared to eight shots and six on goal for Harding. Sophomore
Colton Hadlock made his second start of the season, shutting out the Bisons while notching a career-high six saves.

Gustavo Mendoza added two shots on goal for the Crimson Storm, while
Cutter Smith and
Freddy DiNang each added a shot on goal as well.
