BETHANY, Okla.— Gaige Webster went 3-for-3 and hit the walk-off RBI double to seal the win for Southern Nazarene in its 10-9 victory over William Jewell in ten innings of play.

The Cardinals (2-1) scored in the top of the first inning to take a 1-0 lead. The Crimson Storm (1-3) responded in the bottom of the first with two runs to take a 2-1 lead.
Brandon Dormaier grounded out to the shortstop and drove in Webster and
Kyle Fultz also grounded out to the shortstop and drove in
Dillon Feland. Southern Nazarene extended their lead in the bottom of the third as Dormaier drove in Webster for his second RBI of the day.

William Jewell responded in the top of the fourth as they drove in three runs to take a 4-3 lead. The Crimson Storm countered in the bottom of the fifth as Dormaier singled up the middle and drove in
Riley Morrow and
Michael Descisciolo to create a 5-4 advantage. The Cardinals tied the game at 5-5 in the top of the sixth, but Southern Nazarene was quick to respond as Morrow hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth to take an 8-5 lead.

The Cardinals tied the game in the top of the seventh as they hit a three-run homerun. Fultz hit a solo homerun to left field that gave the lead back to the Crimson Storm at 9-8. William Jewell tied the game in the top of the ninth as Southern Nazarene walked a batter with the bases loaded. In the bottom of the ninth, Fultz walked to get on base, but the Crimson Storm could not capitalize as
Caleb Teel flied out to right field and Wiggins struck out to send the game to extra innings.

In the top of the tenth, the Cardinals had two hits but they could not capitalize as they left two runners on base. Morrow singled to shortstop in the bottom of the tenth. He then stole second to get into scoring position while Webster was at bat. Webster hit the walk-off RBI double to win the game for Southern Nazarene.

Webster also hit a single and scored two runs. Morrow went 3-for-5 with three RBIs and three runs scored. Dormaier had four RBIs.

Anthony Wiggins started the game and pitched five innings. He gave up four runs and one earned run off of six hits. Wiggins also had three strikeouts.
Jacob Spruill (1-0) picked up the win as he pitched three innings. He gave up one run off of three hits and had four strikeouts.Â
