BOCA RATON, Fla. — LB Willis and
CJ Rodriguez combined for 39 points in Southern Nazarene's 92-78 loss to Barry in the Residence Inn Boca Raton Holiday Classic.

Willis finished with 20 points for the Crimson Storm (3-7) as he went 8-for-16 from the field and 4-for-6 from 3-point range. He also had eight rebounds and three assists. Rodriguez had 19 points, even rebounds and four assists.
Garrett Butler also added nine points off of the bench while
Dartanyon Meggs had eight points and seven rebounds.

The Buccaneers (8-2) had five players in double figures as they shot 49.2 percent from the field and went 16-for-31 from downtown. They were10-for-16 in the first half. They were 12-for-15 at the free-throw line and 11-for-13 at the charity stripe in the second half.

SNU shot 40.5 percent from the field and was 12-for-31 from beyond the arc. The Storm were just 6-for-10 at the line.

The Storm had one early lead at 4-3, but Barry went on a 31-10 run to lead 34-14 with 11:06 left in the half. The Storm answered with a 15-6 run, capped by a Rodriguez, trey to cut it to 37-29 with 7:02 to play, but the Bucs pushed it to 46-29 just a few minutes later. SNU tough closed the half with a 10-3 run make it 49-39 at the break.

Southern Nazarene cut it to a seven-point deficit three different times in the first four minutes of the second half, but Barry answered every time down the stretch.
