BETHANY, Okla. — McKenna Qualls had nine kills while Abbey Bell had 16 digs for Southern Nazarene in a 3-0 (27-25, 25-15, 25-20) loss to Midwestern State.
 
The Crimson Storm (12-15) hit just .020 while the Mustangs (6-20) hit .161. Hannah Davis had 16 assists and 12 digs. Kaitlyn Vought had 10 digs along with three blocks. The Storm had six blocks and 52 digs as well.
 
Meghan Bettis led the way for Midwestern State as she had 11 kills.
 
The Storm had set point in the first set at 24-17, but Midwestern State went on a 10-1 run to mount a comeback and take a 1-0 lead in the match. It was all Mustangs from there as they never trailed again in the final two sets.
