WEATHERFORD, Okla. — Southern Nazarene is just one win or one East Central loss away from locking up a trip to the Great American Conference Tournament after notching a 2-0 upset of the Southwestern Oklahoma State Bulldogs.

The Crimson Storm (8-9-0, 5-6-0 GAC) earned their third straight victory Thursday afternoon, a new season high for the team. SNU outshot the Bulldogs 16-7 and did not allow a single shot on goal during the game. It was the third consecutive shutout for the Crimson Storm as well, and seventh of the season for the team.

The game was scoreless at the half, then remained scoreless for the first 11 minutes of the second half. However,
Hannah Robinson was able to put SNU on top in the 87
th minute with a shot that found the back of the net after going through the keeper's legs.
Grace Self added a goal for insurance in the 83
rd minute, scoring on a free kick from 25 yards out to make the score 2-0.

The Crimson Storm defense continued its stellar play today, as it has now gone 272 consecutive minutes without allowing a goal.
Natasha Fuentes notched her sixth shutout of the season and twelfth of her career.
