BETHANY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene saw its two-game winning streak snapped Friday night in a 5-1 loss at the hands of Newman.

The Crimson Storm (2-7-0) came into the game off back-to-back conference wins against Harding and Oklahoma Baptist, but could not get anything going against the Jets. Newman got on the board in the 12
th minute with a goal scored by Pedro Augusto off a bicycle kick to make it 1-0.
Freddy DiNang would even the score with his first goal of the season in the 26
th minute, but that would be the only goal of the night for SNU.

Newman kept a balanced attack all night, with five different players scoring goals for the Jets. Southern Nazarene was heavily out-shot by Newman, taking just 11 shots compared to 17 for the Jets. The Crimson Storm landed just three shots on goal during the game.

Colton Hadlock (2-2-0) tallied five saves on the night for SNU, while Callum Dillon registered two saves for the Jets.
