RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. — Winning on the road is always key in conference play. Remaining the only undefeated team in the Great American Conference after knocking off the preseason favorite is a total different experience.

Southern Nazarene (9-3, 3-0 GAC) knocked off preseason favorite Arkansas Tech, 3-2 (25-19, 25-22, 16-25, 21-25, 15-12) who came into the night unbeaten in the GAC at 4-0. It was the fourth straight five-set win for the Crimson Storm as SNU remained a perfect 4-0 in five-set matches this year.

The Crimson Storm take the early lead in the conference, but have a short turn around as they head to Harding Saturday.

Taylor Jacobs and
Emily Dick combined for 30 of SNU's 53 kills as Jacobs had a team-high 18 kills while Dick had 12. Jacobs also had eight blocks and seven digs. Dick also had five blocks.
Kaylee Piatt dished out 44 assists and had 14 digs to go with six blocks to notch her sixth double-double of the season.
Abbey Bell had 22 digs on the night. Emily Crawford also had nine kills and four blocks.

SNU held Tech to just a .127 clip and out blocked the Golden Suns (8-5, 4-1 GAC) 13-6.
