Box Score 2 STEPHENVILLE, Texas — After coming off a big win in the season opener, SNU took a pair of losses falling 8-6 to Northeastern State and 8-2 to Tarleton State.

The Storm struck first in the bottom of the first with four runs.
Hannah LeBeau doubled to right center to drive home the first two runs before
Saydi Dowd singled to right to give SNU a 3-0 lead.
Kat Lerma drove in the final run of the inning with a sac fly to right to score LeBeau.

The Storm took a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the third on a
Lindy Fluman single to right to score Lerma. Northeastern State answered with two in the fourth to cut it to 5-2. Lerma scored another run in the fifth on a wild pitch to put SNU up 6-2.

The RiverHawks though scored six runs in the top of the sixth to lead 8-6, and set the Storm down in order in the bottom of the sixth and seventh to pick up the win.

LeBeau led the way going 2-for-4 with two RBIs, a run scored and a double.
Sam Smith was also 2-for-2 with a walk.
Andee Frazier (0-1) gave up seven runs on seven hits and struck out three in five innings of work.
Kylie Lang pitched two innings of relief giving up just one run on two hits and struck out one.

In the nightcap, SNU got on the board first again when Frazier drove home Lang with a ground out to take a 1-0 lead. Tarleton State answered in the fourth to tie it at 1-1, but the Storm got a run in the top of the fifth with
Kylee Webb hit a sacrifice fly to left to score Blevens. The Texanns though got a three-run home run in the bottom half of the inning to lead 4-2. TSU added four more in the bottom of the sixth and shut SNU out form there in the seventh.

Frazier went 2-for-3 with an RBI while Wyatt (1-1) gave up four runs on five hits and struck out eight in five innings of work.
Ashley Potter gave up four runs, only one was earned, and struck out two in one inning of work.

Kylie Lang and
Hannah LeBeau were both named to the All-Tournament Team.

Due to inclement weather in the area Monday, TSU has cancelled the final day of the Texann Invitational.
