BETHANY, Okla.— Bekah Stewart's goal in the 71
st minute proved to be the game-winner for Southern Nazarene in a 3-2 victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State.

The Crimson Storm (7-7, 5-2 GAC) got on the board first when
Grace Self scored in the 19
th minute off a pass from
Mallary Pineda. The Rangers (5-6-3, 0-5-2 GAC) knotted up the game in the 29
th minute when Emily Witty scored off a pass from Leidiane Capobianco. Southern Nazarene re-took the lead two minutes later when Stewart passed
Hannah Robinson the ball and she put the ball over the keeper's head from 35 yards out.

Northwestern Oklahoma State tied up the game again in the 53
rd minute when Witty headed Kaitlyn O'Toole's free kick into the back of the net. Stewart put SNU up again in the 71
st minute when she headed Self's free kick pass the keeper to give them a 3-2 lead. The Crimson Storm only allowed the Rangers to attempt one more shot the rest of the game.

Southern Nazarene attempted 18 shots with nine being on goal. Northwestern Oklahoma State attempted 11 shots with four being on goal.

NWOSU's Briana Legaspi recorded six saves and SNU's
Natasha Fuentes had two saves.

Self has a career-high eight points on the season. She has also tied her career-high for goals in a season with three. With 19 career assists, Stewart is now two assists away from moving up to the seventh spot for career assists held by Becky Atkinson (1995-98), who has 21 career assists.Â
