Southern Nazarene scored another win on the road by knocking off East Central

Brewer tied his career-high with 12 points.
Box Score ADA, Okla. — Chalk another win up on the road for Southern Nazarene. For the second time in three road games SNU knocked off an opponent on the road with a 55-48 win over East Central.
 
Quan Conner scored a game-high 17 points and added eight rebounds as a the senior went 5-for-13 from the floor and 2-for-5 from 3-point range.  Robert Brewer tied a career-high with 12 points on the night and added five rebounds and three assists. Bradley Toone also scored 11 points and had four rebounds off of the bench.
 
The Crimson Storm struggled from outside going 0-for-5 in the first half, but bounced back in the second half, hitting 4-for-8. SNU shot 18-for-42 from the floor and were 15-for-20 at the line.
 
East Central led the entire first half, but never carried a lead of more than seven at any time and had just a 29-28 lead at the half. Garrett Butler drained a 3-pointer to open the second half to give SNU a 31-29 lead and the Storm never trailed again. ECU did tie it at 31, but a Conner trey ignited a 16-6 run as SNU led by 10 and pushed it out to 13 before hitting cruise control the rest of the night.
 
It's down to just two games for the regular season and the final home comes to rest Saturday at 4 p.m. as SNU welcomes Southeastern Oklahoma State for senior day.
