They All Fall Down

Aminata Fall recorded a career-high in a route of Arkansas-Monticello.

Fall scored a career-high 24 points in just 23 minutes on the floor.
Box Score BETHANY, Okla. — Just about everything Aminata Fall put up went in as the sophomore scored a career-high 24 points and pulled down 14 rebounds in a 77-55 win over Arkansas-Monticello.
 
Fall scored 16 of those points in the first half alone and had 20 points less than three minutes into the first half before she got into foul trouble. She went 12-for-19 from the field and added two steals and a block.
 
The Crimson Storm (14-9, 11-6 GAC) notched a season-high sixth straight win and have won 10 of their last 12. SNU shot 46.2 percent from the field and dominated the Cotton Blossoms (5-17, 2-14 GAC) on the boards. SNU grabbed 47 rebounds and held UAM to just 30. The Storm scored 34 of their points in the pain and added 25 points off of 20 UAM turnovers.
 
Annie Kassongo notched her second straight 20-point game as the senior posted 21 points and just missed a double-double with nine rebounds. She also added two blocks. Kassongo went 9-for-13 from the floor and 3-for-4 from the free-throw line.
 
Neither team led by more than four at any points until Fall sparked a 29-5 run to end the half and take a 39-19 lead. The Storm never trailed again and cruised to the win.
 
SNU will now get set to head to East Central, Thursday, for a 5:30 p.m. GAC contest.
