SHAWNEE, Okla. — Daniel White scored a game-high 20 points for No. 23 Southern Nazarene in a 63-58 loss to Oklahoma Baptist, Thursday night.

The Crimson Storm (17-8, 10-7 SAC) have lost three straight, but all three losses have come to teams currently ranked inside the top 15 and the last two have come against teams ranked inside the top six. The last two losses were by a combined 11 points.

White went 5-for-10 from the field and 9-for-14 at the free-throw line. He was just a rebound short of a double-double with nine. Jon West also added 13 points with eight coming at the line as he went 8-for-8 and notched five rebounds. Ryan Aaron chipped in with 12 points and four rebounds as well.

Neither team shot over 40 percent and neither team had more than 10 turnovers. SNU fired just 31.3 percent from the field while the Bison went 39.3. OBU outmatched the Storm in the paint scoring 32 points while SNU had 24 and the Bison also pulled down 44 rebounds while SNU had 35.

Neither team led by more than seven in the first half and that was the Bison's advantage at halftime at 26-19 before OBU took its biggest lead of the game early in the second half at 32-21. West answered that with a trey that sparked a 10-2 run as SNU cut it to 34-31 with 13:53 left to play.

OBU pushed to lead back out to 36-31, but SNU again garnered momentum and used a 12-2 run that was capped by a White 3-pointer, that gave SNU at 39-38 lead, and four straight free throws by White as the Storm contolled the pace at 43-38 with 8:23 remaining.

OBU thought responded with six straight, but Horace McGloster was successful down low with a bucket to make it 45-44 with 6:27 left. The Bison retook the lead on a pair of free throws, but White again came to the rescue with a 3-point play that gave SNU a 48-46 advantage with just 5:45 left.

The Bison went to their top scorer on the next possession as Emmanuel Wilson fired a three from the right side and it found the bottom of the net along with a whistle and eventually a four point play as OBU took the lead for good.

OBU didn't lead by more than seven the rest of the way, but match SNU nearly shot for shot down the stretch.

The Crimson Storm will now get set to host Saint Gregory's, Saturday, at 5 p.m. in a rematch of a game that the Cavaliers took one away from SNU in Shawnee.
