Southern Nazarene University Athletics

Travis Veatch is entering his 24th year as an athletic trainer at Southern Nazarene University and his 8th year as the Head Athletic Trainer.

Veatch came to SNU as a student-athlete in the fall of 1994 and was a member of the Crimson Storm Track and Field program, competing in the high jump. Veatch graduated in the fall of 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training and Clinical Management. In the fall of 2000, Veatch was hired as a full-time assistant athletic trainer for SNU. He earned an MBA in Healthcare from SNU in 2014. 

A certified member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association (NATA), and licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure, Veatch currently provides primary Athletic Training coverage for the sports of volleyball and men's basketball, and shares coverage responsibilities for women's basketball, baseball, and softball.

Veatch is a graduate of Bridge Creek High School and currently resides in Edmond with his wife Ellen, and their two kids, Braxton and Ivy.
