Mia Moddelmog was named the new Director of Athletics Communications on July 1, 2024.
Moddelmog served as the Athletics Communications Graduate Assistant during the 2023-24 year. As the graduate assistant, she was the primary contact for SNU Baseball, Women’s Basketball, Cross Country, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, and Track & Field. She also helped cover all other sports, when needed.
Moddelmog played softball at Oklahoma Baptist and was a part of the 2023 Great American Conference championship team, which was the first GAC championship in program history.
During her time as GA, Moddelmog honed her skills in a variety of areas, including graphic design, writing, PA, and stats. She continues to produce excellent content that promotes the successes of SNU athletics.
Mia graduated from Oklahoma Baptist with a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing in 2023. In 2025, she graduated from Southern Nazarene with a master's degree in Sports Management. Her sister, Emma Grace, plays volleyball at SNU. Her father, Chris, is the head baseball coach at SNU.
Mia resides in Oklahoma City and enjoys exercising, reading, and hanging out with friends and family.
