Southern Nazarene University Athletics

Josh Price was named an assistant men's basketball coach at Southern Nazarene University in July of 2026.

Price joins the Crimson Storm after serving as an assistant coach at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. During his first season on staff, he helped the Drovers improve their record from the previous year and earn a berth in the conference tournament. He assisted in player development, recruiting, and game scheduling while helping mentor one All-Conference selection and one All-Freshman Team honoree.

Prior to beginning his coaching career, Price played basketball at Rogers State University from 2021 to 2024 before finishing his playing career at Friends University during the 2024-25 season. He served as team captain in his lone season with the Falcons and helped lead the program to one of the best records in school history. Friends earned its first NAIA National Tournament appearance in five years while snapping a four-year streak of losing seasons.

Price earned the Friends University Dale Faber Award and the KCAC Champions of Character Award.

A native of Edmond, Oklahoma, Price graduated salutatorian from Edmond North High School before graduating summa cum laude from Friends University with a bachelor's degree in business administration.

Josh is married to his wife, Allison.
