Southern Nazarene University Athletics

Edric McDade was named an Assistant Coach for the Southern Nazarene Football program in August of 2025.

McDade brings a strong playing background to the Crimson Storm after competing at Shaw University from 2021-2025 where he was a defensive end for the Bears.

Before his collegiate career, McDade starred at Everglades High School in Miramar, Florida. Originally a quarterback, he transitioned to defensive end and helped lead Everglades to its first playoff appearance in 13 years.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, McDade is the son of Regina McDade.
