Ashton Young began at SNU as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer in 2021. During her second year at SNU Ashton began working full-time as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.
Additionally licensed in Texas, BOC Certified, and a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association (NATA), Ashton earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2019 and Master’s degree in Athletic Training in 2021 at Abilene Christian University where she obtained her Athletic Training Certification (ATC). Most recently Young completed her Doctorate degree in Education, Administration, and Leadership at Southern Nazarene in 2024
Ashton is originally from Plano, Texas but lives in Oklahoma City with her chocolate lab, Murphy.
