Southern Nazarene University Athletics

Carlos Zepeda was named an Assistant Coach for the Southern Nazarene Football program in August 2025.

A SNU alumnus, Zepeda brings a passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the field while investing in the next generation of Crimson Storm football players.

Zepeda earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and his master's degree in Human and Health Performance from Southern Nazarene. During his collegiate career, he was a member of the Crimson Storm football program for six seasons as a running back. Zepeda was an integral part of SNU football's recent successes, helping set new Division II program records for wins in a season and helping the Crimson Storm earn their first bowl game berth in the Division II era.

Away from the field, Zepeda has served in higher education administration, working in Residence Life to mentor and support college students in their academic, personal, and spiritual development. 

A native of Ponder, Texas, Zepeda is passionate about Southern Nazarene University and its mission of developing Christlike disciples through higher education.
