· Posted a career-best time of 1:06.93 in the 400 meters at the KSU Steve Miller Open
2016
· Competed in 12 events as a sophomore
· Earned three top-10 finishes
· Earned a seventh place finish with a time of 16.79 in the 100 meter hurdles at the Great American Conference Track & field Championships
· Posted collegiate-best times of 29.63 in the 200 meters at the Oklahoma Baptist Early Qualifier
· Also posted season-best times of 1:05.89 in the 400 meters, 9.98 in the 60 meter hurdles, and 1:10.98 in the 400 meter hurdles
2015
· Competed in six events as a freshman
· Finished eighth with a time of 21:06 in the 100-meter hurdles at the Southwestern Relays
· Helped the 4x100 meters team earn a 10th place finish at the ESU Relays
· Posted a season-best time of 8.82 in the 60 meters at the UCO Indoor Invitational
· Recorded a season-best time of 10.29 in the 60-meter hurdles at the UCO Indoor Open
HIGH SCHOOL
· Prepped three varsity seasons at Edmond (Okla.) North High School where she graduated in 2014
· Qualified for the state meet in the 100-meter hurdles as a senior
· Made it to the regional meet in the 100-meter hurdles as a sophomore
· Won the 300-meter hurdles at the Metro Athletics Conference meet as a freshman
· Qualified for the state meet in the 4x100-meter relay
· Also ran two varsity seasons of cross country
PERSONAL
· Born Feb. 26, 1996, to Derek and Penny Colton
· Has four sisters
· Her sister, Nikki, swam at Henderson State
· Her sister, Natalie, played basketball at Cameron
· Her grandfather, Ken, wrestled at the University of Iowa
· Majoring in elementary education/early childhood education
· Enjoys shopping, hanging out with friends and family, and running
