•    Ran in four races notching a best time of 21:55 at the South Central Kansas Invitational
•    Finished 43rd at the SAC Championships with a 24:16.21

HIGH SCHOOL
•    Prepped at Mustang (Okla.) High School
•    Was a four-time state qualifier in track and field and earned Mustang’s Athlete of the Year honor as a senior
•    Was a two-year starter in basketball
•    Recorded times of 9:40 in the 4x800 relay and a time of 2:29 in the 800 meters
•    Earned Oklahoma Academic Scholar honors and also being a member of the National Honor Society
•    Was class valedictorian
