Mark Jeffreys

Mark Jeffreys was announced as the first-ever Head Coach of Southern Nazarene University’s Men’s and Women’s Bowling programs on July 25, 2022. He is now entering his fourth season leading the Crimson Storm bowling teams.

Before joining SNU, Jeffreys coached at Blanchard High School in Blanchard, Oklahoma, where he led the boys basketball program to two state tournament appearances and guided the team to a pair of state academic championships.

Earlier in his career, Jeffreys served as a lay coach at several schools while also working in the corporate world. He spent 25 years with United Parcel Service, retiring as a Regional Vice President. He was part of the original leadership team that established UPS Capital. In addition, he founded one of the top digital media companies in the outdoor industry and, in 2022, was nominated for the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame for his journalistic coverage of professional bass fishing.

Alongside his coaching and professional career, Jeffreys has an extensive background in bowling. A member of the Professional Bowlers Association for 32 years, he has earned 22 local and regional titles and continues to compete on both the PBA 50 Tour and in PBA 50 Regional events. Under his leadership, the 2024-2025 SNU Men’s Bowling team captured the SWIBC Championship in San Antonio, Texas.

Jeffreys is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma. He and his wife, Caroline, have two sons, Mark and Aaron.
