·   Competed in six meets as a junior
·   Tied a career-best 4.40 meters at the OBU Indoor Invitational
·   Finished in fourth place at the outdoor Southwestern Relays in the 200 meter mile run with a time of 22.51
·   Placed fourth at the Outdoor SAC Conference Challenge and set a season best clearing 4.55 meters 
 
2012
·   Cleared a season-best 4.05 meters in the pole vault at MSSU Invitational during the indoor season
·   Competed at the Bison Invitational during the outdoor season
 
2011
·   Qualified for the NAIA Outdoor National Championships in pole vault
·   Recorded a career-high vault of 4.71 meters at the Southwestern Invitational
·   Placed fifth at the SAC Championships with a vault of 4.55 meters
·   Took 10th at the MSSU Radio Shack Invitational with a vault of 4.40 meters
 
HIGH SCHOOL
·   Prepped at Dangerfield (Texas) High where he graduated in 2010
·   Took third at the state meet in pole vault with a height of 14-feet 6-inches as a senior
·   Was a four-time regional qualifier in the pole vault, high jump, 800-meters, 300-meter hurdles and the 1600-meter relay
·   Helped team win the Class 2A State Championship
·   Played football for a 2008 and 2009 Class 2A State Championship teams
·   Was a two-time all-state selection in football
·   Member of the National Honors Society and was in the top 10 percent of his graduating class
